“I pray that, according to the riches of His glory, He may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power though His Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.”

Ephesians 3:16-17

There is an enormous amount of strength that women gather from being around other women. It is a blessing to have the love, support and council of women on the same faith journey. Our ministry offers fellowship groups, Bible studies, a Celebration Weekend and more. The Bible studies are offered throughout the year with our main sessions offered in the spring and fall.

Widow to Widow Support Group

Due West United Methodist Church’s Widow to Widow Support Group is not meeting during the COVID-19 pandemic. When in sessions, this is a safe space for women who have lost a spouse to meet with others who are going through the same thing. It will be a place for conversation and encouragement. When widows have a place where they can talk freely, and listen with compassion, the journey from mourning to restored joy is made more bearable.

When meetings resume, they will be the first Sunday of each month from 2:00-4:00 pm at the home of Teresa Bowles in Kennesaw, GA. Please contact Teresa at 404-406-0012 for more information.
