Saturday, October 27
5:00-7:00 pm ~ S. Campus Parking Lot

Join us for our BIGGEST Young Families event of the year:  Trunk-or-Treat!  We will have plenty of trunks & candy, a DJ, and pizza (served from 5:30 to 6:30 pm)!  Dress up your kids or dress up your whole family - and join us for this family block party!

We need your help!  If you are in a Sunday school class, small group, or one of the many ministries at Due West, we would love for you to participate by either decorating your vehicle trunk and handing out candy to kids or donating bags of candy.  Please bring candy donations to the Admin 1 church office.  Families will walk around and “trunk-or-treat."

There will be awards and prizes presented to the “Best Decorated” and the "Most Creative” trunk!  No scary decorations please!

If you would like to help, please Email Young Families.

Gatherings

Gatherings are informal opportunities that take place in the summer.  Look for our Summer 2019 gatherings information in the spring.

What are the differences between 'gatherings' and 'events'?

Young Families events are opportunities for families to gather, connect, and fellowship with others in the community.  Young Families events are always free -- no cost to you or your family!  In order to better accommodate your family, we often request that families register for events.

Gatherings are informal opportunities for families to gather during the summertime at a family-friendly restaurant or establishment.  There's no need to register, sign-up, or R.S.V.P. -- just come!  Families are responsible for the cost of Gatherings.

What is considered a 'young family'?

We consider any family with a child in fifth grade or younger a 'young family'!  Whether you have babies, toddlers, young elementary-age children, or older elementary-age children, you know the joys and the hardships of having young children!
