Connecting Young Families in Our Community
The Young Families of Due West exists to connect families with young children through family-friendly fellowship events & gatherings for the Due West & West Cobb community.
Join us for our Spring Fling on Saturday, March 31 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. We will have Touch-A-Truck, food, an egg hunt, Easter Bunny, animals and face painting. This event is free and open to the community. Invite your friends and neighbors! Looking forward to seeing you there!
GatheringsGatherings are informal opportunities that take place in the summer. Look for our Summer 2018 gatherings information in the spring.
What are the differences between 'gatherings' and 'events'?
Young Families events are opportunities for families to gather, connect, and fellowship with others in the community. Young Families events are always free -- no cost to you or your family! In order to better accommodate your family, we often request that families register for events.
Gatherings are informal opportunities for families to gather during the summertime at a family-friendly restaurant or establishment. There's no need to register, sign-up, or R.S.V.P. -- just come! Families are responsible for the cost of Gatherings.
What is considered a 'young family'?
We consider any family with a child in fifth grade or younger a 'young family'! Whether you have babies, toddlers, young elementary-age children, or older elementary-age children, you know the joys and the hardships of having young children!
