9:39 Praise Band

Alan Schulman, lead guitar/background vocals. Alan heads up the 9:39 band, and helps establish their distinctive sound with his characteristic guitar sound. He has played in top forty bands all across the country. His influences include Eddie Van Halen, Jeff Beck and Robin Trower.

Martin Abbott, drums. Martin has been playing drums for forty years and has been with the 9:39 band for five years. He has been a percussion instructor for thirty years. His favorite bands include: Steven Curtis Chapman, Third Day, Nicole Nordeman, and Yes. He has two kids, one of whom is following in his dad’s footsteps by also playing the drums.
