Serving one another within our church

Community Leader: Kerri Casteel, 678.859.6524 or Email Kerri

Due West offers many ways to get involved to meet the needs within our church family. Each year we church members gather for our Great Day of Service in which we participate in service throughout the church and within the community. We also have  a wonderful LifeCare Ministry who offer support in many areas for families in crisis. Our Stitchin' Sallies uses the art of quilting and other sewing techniques to create lap quilts and other items for families in crisis.

Take a moment to see the many ways you can become involved within our church. We would love to have you join us.

LifeCare

LifeCare Ministry is a part of DiscipleLife.  This ministry is devoted to helping provide our church family and community with a variety of care outreach.

Alzheimer's Support Group

This support group meets the last Thursday of each month from 7:00-8:30 pm in the North Campus Gathering Room. Our next meeting is Thursday, May 24. We welcome caregivers of loved ones suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia.

Caregivers’ Conference
Saturday, May 5th ~ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

This informative meeting is free and open to the community.  It will be led by Ellen & Daniel Potts, MD, authors of A Pocket Guide for the Alzheimer’s Caregiver.  Ellen & Daniel have had 8 relatives with Alzheimer’s disease or vascular dementia for whom they and their immediate families have cared for.  They work, write, lecture, live as advocates for people with dementia and for caregivers...in the hope that other caregivers might benefit from the mistakes and successes of their families.  You can learn more about the Potts’ work at http://dementiadynamics.com.
