- The Preschool uses a Christian based curriculum which incorporates monthly themes to teach age appropriate skills with lots of fun hands on activities, manipulatives, and games. We use the Zoo-phonics curriculum to teach phonics to the three-five year olds.
- The daily schedule includes art, music, circle time, learning center activities, snack, and outdoor or indoor large muscle play time.
Classes are offered for the following ages, days and times:
- Infants: Monday/Wednesday, 9:00 - 12:00
- Young Ones: Tuesday/Thursday (turning 1 between May - August), 9:00 - 12:00
- Ones: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, 9:00 - 12:00
- Young Twos: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, 9:00 - 12:00
- Older Twos: Tuesday/Thursday (turning 3 between Sept. 2 - Dec. 31), 9:00 - 12:00
- Threes: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, or Monday-Thursday, 9:00 - 1:00
- Fours: Monday - Thursday or Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 1:00
- Young Fives: Monday - Friday (turning 5 by December 31), 9:00 - 1:00
[Lunch Bunch 12:00 - 1:00 is available for the infants through older twos' classes]

Preschool Openings for 2011-2012
If you are looking for a quality preschool for your child or know of someone who is, we currently have the following limited openings:
Young Ones (Tuesday/Thursday)
Threes (Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday & Thursday)
Fours (Monday-Friday)
All other classes have a waiting list that you are welcome to join.If your child is enrolled before January 20th, you won't have to stand in line to register for next year!
The Preschool Ministry has been certified as a “Program of Excellence for Young Children” by the N. GA Conference Directors Organization of the United Methodist Church since 2001.

Preschool Registration for 2012-2013
It’s time to start thinking about preschool for the next school year! The Due West Preschool Ministry will be holding registration day for church and community families on Saturday, February 4th in the Gathering Room. Registration for church families and alumni siblings will be from 8:00-8:30 am and for the community from 8:30-9:00 am. The preschool offers classes for children ages 4 months through 5 years. The classes are held two to five days a week, depending on the age of the children. Infants through two year olds attend school 9:00 am-12:00 pm with an optional extra hour. Three, four, and five-year-olds attend 9:00 am-1:00 pm. Please call Karen Coffeen at 770-590-0982 for more info and to schedule a tour.
