Bible Studies
DiscipleLife
DiscipleLife encourages you to "Make Disciples out of Followers and Followers out of Wanderers." Being a Disciple of Christ is a lifestyle which takes time and practice. At Due West we want to provide opportunities for you to practice discipleship. The group studies provided help move us into a loving relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We encourage you to join a DiscipleLife group and move toward maturity in Christ.
Spring 2012 DiscipleLife Bible Studies
We are inviting everyone to study the scriptures and grow as a Disciple of Christ. We will be offering the following Disciple Bible Studies...
Disciple I (34 weeks) - Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study
Sundays at 4:00 pm (S242) - Facilitator: Ken Seeling
Disciple: Invitation to John (12 weeks)
Sundays at 5:00 pm beginning January 22 - Facilitator: Rev. Paul Davis
Invitation to John is an in-depth study of the Gospel of John. In the very first chapter of John’s Gospel, Jesus issues two invitations: “come and see”, and “Follow me.” They echo the invitations of this study: to come and see this Jesus – hear Him speak, to see His signs – and to consider what it means to be his followers.
Disciple: Invitation to the Old Testament (9 weeks)
Wednesdays at 6:30 pm beginning January 25 - Facilitator: Peter Amelingmeier
Are you sometimes confused by the Old Testament? If so, Invitation To The Old Testament Bible Study is for you. This is an in-depth study that invites participants to hear the story of God and God’s calling of the people of Israel through the many “voices” of Biblical text. You will hear the story of God’s covenantal relationship with Israel.
The sign-up sheets and information are available in the N. Campus Narthex.
Please Email Kim Kramer if you have any questions.
WINGS (Women In New Growing Spirit)
SPRING 2012 Bible Studies
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17
There is an enormous amount of strength that women gather from being
around other women. It is a blessing to have the love, support and
council of women on the same faith journey. Our ministry offers
fellowship groups, Bible studies, retreats and more. The Bible studies
are offered throughout the year with our main sessions offered in the
spring and fall.

All too often, what they say to themselves when they lie in bed at night or look in the mirror in the morning is not even close to the words God wants them to speak to their souls.
